Providing a woman with income alone is not enough for economic independence. What women really need above all else is self-confidence, access, and leadership. Through the ASILA CARAVAN and capacity-building programs, the woman acquires the necessary tools, skills, and resources to scale her enterprise, increase her long-term income stream, and lead high-impact community projects.
During the week-long caravan across Morocco, women artisans participate in workshops, discussions, training sessions, coaching, and meet with the heads of public organizations concerned with artisanal cooperatives and women-led initiatives. Throughout our capacity-building sessions, women refine their administrative, technological and entrepreneurial skills, enabling her to lead a sustainable business and take on more leadership roles in her community.
